Vi har taget tilløb nogle gange, først med Archie Publications’ opsamlinger med det bedste fra årtierne, dernæst Dan DeCarlo og Stan Goldberg bøgerne, så avis striben af Bob Montana, og Archie Firsts fra Dark Horse, og nu kommer endelig “Archie Archives”, der genoptrykker de gamle Pep Comics, Jackpot Comics, og Archie Comics kronologisk. Det har aldrig været bedre tider for Archie genoptryk end lige nu. Så kom med tilbage til en svunden tid i 1940’ernes small town, USA, med Archie Andrews og hans venner fra Riverdale High. Dark Horse udgiver første bind til april 2011, lige til at blive forårskåd af! Vi fejrer, at næste år er 70 år siden, at Archie Andrews dukkede op i “Pep Comics” #22, den 22. december 1941, lige efter Pearl Harbor! Figuren skulle appellere til fans af datidens populære “Andy Hardy” film med Mickey Rooney.
